Jafar Huseynzada, Azerbaijan’s Head of Mission to NATO, met with Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chairman of NATO’s Military Committee, at the Alliance headquarters in Brussels. The discussions focused on the Azerbaijan–NATO partnership and future cooperation under the Partnership for Peace program. Admiral Cavo Dragone emphasized that Azerbaijan remains a reliable partner for NATO. He praised Azerbaijan’s consistent contributions to NATO-led peace-support operations and underlined the country’s vital role in strengthening Europe’s energy security. The meeting highlighted Azerbaijan’s significance for NATO not only in the field of security but also as a strategic energy partner for Europe.
