The Netherlands is ready to share its ideas on ‘green’ energy with Kazakhstan.
Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte made the statement during a meeting with Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana, Trend reported on Tuesday, citing Akorda.
‘I first visited Astana in 2010, my first trip outside the EU as a new Prime Minister. Then there was my visit in 2015. I always marvelled at the rapid development of our bilateral relations and I have a deep respect for Kazakhstan’s balanced position on the regional and international agenda. I also respect what you have done personally to take the country to the next level. We will be happy to share the ideas and developments we have in the fields of agriculture, green energy, water management,’ he said.
During the talks, the sides also comprehensively discussed ways to strengthen contacts in the fields of trade, economy, energy and investment cooperation, as well as transport, innovation, nuclear energy, agriculture, health, climate and water management.
