Bakhtiyor Mustafayev, Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan, stated at the 13th SCO Analytical Centers Forum that modern challenges and threats can only be overcome through dialogue, mutual consideration of interests, and adherence to international law. He emphasized the importance of collective responsibility for regional prosperity and sustainable development, as well as the need to consolidate efforts for long-term peace in Afghanistan. Mustafayev also highlighted that the SCO’s ongoing transformation should have practical substance, grounded in principles such as trust, equality, respect for cultural diversity, joint development, and consensus-based decision-making.
