Poland and the UK have signed a three-year defence cooperation plan, which includes counter-drone measures and military training.
The document was signed in Warsaw by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Vladislav Kosiniak-Kamysz and UK Foreign Secretary Wes Stritting.
Among the key topics discussed at the meeting were the adaptation of the armed forces to hybrid threats, the reinforcement of NATO’s eastern flank with modern capabilities, and the strengthening of industrial ties.
“This cooperation plan demonstrates our shared commitment to the cause. The key issues we are working on are new technologies, artificial intelligence, drones, counter-drone measures, and traditional military exercises,” said Kosiniak-Kamysz.
It is noted that the signed document sets out the strategic directions for cooperation between the armed forces of both countries until the end of the decade.
The British and Polish ministers also discussed support for Ukraine.
