President Japarov met with Speaker of the Russian Parliament Vyacheslav Volodin

On May 19, 2025, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov held a meeting with Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin, who arrived in the country on official visits. During the meeting, the issues of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia and deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed. Volodin emphasized that Russia attaches great importance to its relations with Kyrgyzstan, noting the importance of strengthening friendly relations and strategic partnership. He also noted the positive dynamics of cooperation between the two countries in the trade and economic spheres. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation and further strengthening of bilateral relations.
