Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Beijing, stated that Russia respects Serbia’s independent foreign policy. He expressed satisfaction at meeting Vucic in person to discuss bilateral and regional matters. Putin also recalled their previous meeting in Moscow and said he was glad to meet again on the sidelines of events marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
