President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov discussed strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries and deepening economic cooperation during a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Budapest.
During the meeting, it was emphasized to increase cooperation in areas such as trade, agriculture, education, culture and hydropower. Japarov emphasized the need to further develop friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary. Orbán, in turn, stated that the existing friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries should be transformed into concrete projects. The informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which Hungary will host in 2025, was also on the agenda of the meeting. Japarov expressed his appreciation for Hungary’s efforts to integrate with the Turkic world and expressed his support for the successful organization of the summit.
