Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will participate in the “Central Asia-US” summit in Washington on November 6. According to the Akorda press service, Tokayev sent a letter to US President Donald Trump thanking him for the invitation and calling the initiative “timely.” It was also stated that Tokayev “shares the main goals of President Donald Trump’s domestic and foreign policy,” specifically “upholding traditional values based on common sense” and the “American leader’s desire to protect peace and security.”
