US President Donald Trump has signed several permits relating to the transport of oil and petroleum products between the US and Canada.
According to Report, the relevant documents have been published by the White House.
According to the information, one of the permits was issued to Bakken Pipeline Company LP for the construction, connection, operation and maintenance of pipeline infrastructure in Burke County, North Dakota.
In addition, Bakken Pipeline Company received a separate permit for the operation and maintenance of existing pipeline facilities in the same county.
Two further permits were granted to entities within the Enbridge Energy group. These relate to the operation and maintenance of existing pipeline facilities in St. Clair County, Michigan, and in Pembina County, North Dakota.
The decisions are aimed at facilitating the transport of crude oil and petroleum products across the US-Canada border.
