Zelensky confirmed his readiness to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stressed the importance of a ceasefire, security guarantees, and joint efforts for a just and lasting peace. The meeting continued behind closed doors.
