Serbia will be able to begin a strategic dialogue with the US as early as this summer. According to Report, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic made this statement during an interview on Pink TV. “We are also working with the Americans, and I think that this summer we will be able to begin a strategic dialogue with the US. That is why peace, stability and caring for people are important to us, as are all the things we have discussed – plans and programmes – because without these there can be no progress,” he noted.
Vučić also noted that Belgrade will continue to move forward on its European path: “People in Serbia know that my policy is responsible and stable, and that it is very difficult to change.” Earlier, Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić stated that, on Vučić’s instructions, active work would be carried out to develop comprehensive cooperation with the US.
