A total of 78 Turkmen capital companies are operating in Azerbaijan in sectors such as industry, transport, construction, trade, and services. Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Alekperov announced this at the TIF 2025 Investment Forum held in the Avaza National Tourism Zone. He noted positive trends in agricultural and processed product trade in recent years but said results remain modest. Alekperov emphasized that the establishment of an Azerbaijani trade mission in Uzbekistan, whose activities will also cover other Central Asian countries, will create new opportunities for exports to Turkmenistan, investment cooperation, direct business contacts, and joint projects in the region.
