Maduro accused the US of trying to establish a puppet regime in Venezuela.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro accused the United States of attempting to establish a puppet government in Venezuela to seize its natural resources, including the world’s largest oil reserves, the fourth-largest gas reserves, and top gold reserves. He said the U.S. deployed warships and a nuclear submarine to the Caribbean and made false accusations against Venezuela. Maduro noted that the UN, EU, WTO, and the U.S. DEA have already refuted these claims. He stressed that even within the U.S., no one believes such lies and affirmed that Venezuela will remain an independent, free, and peaceful nation.
