Elin Suleymanov: Peace between Baku and Yerevan can only be achieved during the Trump era

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the UK, Elin Suleymanov, stated that the historic peace agreement signed in Washington between Azerbaijan and Armenia was only possible under Donald Trump’s approach, as he acts as a peacebroker focused on real results rather than ideology. He emphasized that Trump’s initiatives are guided by the interests of the whole nation, not a specific administration, and that U.S. and Azerbaijani interests in regional peace and security align. On August 8, Presidents Aliyev and Pashinyan, mediated by Trump, signed a joint declaration and initialed a peace treaty.
