Iran has sent its conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz to the US, Report informs, citing Tasnim.
Mohsen Rezaei, the new military adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, announced this.
According to him, Tehran is demanding an end to military operations, the unfreezing of Iranian assets, as well as an end to wars in the region, including in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
“The strait will not be opened until the US changes its position and accepts Iran’s conditions,” Rezaei said.
He also stressed that an agreement between Iran and Oman on the Strait of Hormuz will have no impact on the issue of reopening the waterway.
