QazaqGaz announced the early completion of repair works on the “Central Asia–Center” (CAC) gas pipeline. Replacement and re-insulation of defective pipes on the CAC-4 section have been fully completed, and gas filling began on August 21. This will increase the transit of Russian gas to Uzbekistan. In October 2023, a reverse flow mode was launched with the participation of the presidents of Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan, marking a significant step in regional energy cooperation.
