Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan signed a Roadmap to increase bilateral trade to USD 3 billion by 2030. The agreement was concluded in Bishkek following talks between Presidents Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Sadyr Japarov. The two leaders also adopted a Joint Statement and decisions from the seventh session of the Supreme Interstate Council. Between January and May 2025, trade turnover reached USD 566.4 million, a 9% increase compared to the same period last year. Kazakhstan remains one of Kyrgyzstan’s key economic partners, ranking third after China and Russia.
