During a meeting with Armenia’s Interior Minister Arpine Sarkisyan, who is on a visit to Georgia, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze discussed issues of peace and stability in the South Caucasus, Report informs.
At the meeting, the parties praised the fact that negotiations on a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan have reached the final stage.
They expressed hope that the document would be signed in the near future.
Kobakhidze emphasized that the Georgian government is ready to continue supporting the establishment of sustainable peace and stability in the region, as well as promoting dialogue between Baku and Yerevan.
Georgia’s Interior Minister Gela Geladze also participated in the meeting.
