Kyrgyzstan and Georgia have signed a package of cooperation agreements

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held official talks, following which a number of documents were signed aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields. According to Report, this was announced by the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan.

In particular, documents were signed on cooperation between the aviation authorities of the two countries, collaboration in the management of state property, veterinary control and the development of livestock farming, as well as a programme of cooperation between the foreign ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Georgia for 2027–2028.

In addition, the parties agreed on the exchange of information and cooperation in the field of radiation protection, nuclear safety and the physical protection of nuclear facilities. A memorandum of cooperation in the field of education was also signed.

Particular attention was paid to the development of trade and economic ties. In particular, an agreement was concluded on the organisation of the preliminary exchange of information on goods and vehicles transported between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia. The package of documents also included an agreement on cooperation in the field of physical culture and sport and a memorandum on cooperation between the ministries of justice of the two countries.
