On August 20, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov met with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Huseyn Guliyev. They discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the July Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan summit in Baku and joint events marking the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing dialogue in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance.
