A meeting between representatives of Uzbekistan and Jan Proks, director of the Czech Electrotechnical Association, took place in Prague, Trend reports.
According to the information, the meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of electronics, electrical engineering, automation, and energy. The Czech side was presented with information on the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan since 2016, aimed at improving the investment climate and expanding production and export opportunities.
The association’s leadership expressed interest in partnership, noting the experience of Czech companies in the field of industrial automation, Industry 4.0 solutions, artificial intelligence, and the production of high-tech products for the energy and mining sectors.
It was also noted that Uzbekistan offers a stable economic environment, access to the markets of Central Asia and Eurasia, and attractive conditions for cooperation under the GSP+ preferential trade regime with the EU.
