Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Moscow on April 1. During the meeting, the sides will discuss methods of resolving the situation in Ukraine and other issues on the international and bilateral agenda.
According to APA’s Moscow correspondent, the Russian Foreign Ministry made the announcement. “On April 1, talks will be held in Moscow between Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and a member of the Politburo, who is also on an official visit to Russia,” the ministry said in a statement. The talks will focus on “the most pressing issues of the international agenda, including the prospects for resolving the crisis around Ukraine,” it said. In addition, the heads of the foreign policy ministries of Russia and China will discuss issues of bilateral relations, including high-level contacts, it said.
