Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS). Xi highlighted that the global economic landscape is undergoing profound changes, with both challenges and opportunities. He emphasized that China will continue its high-standard opening-up, align with international economic and trade rules, open its service market in an orderly manner through platforms like pilot free trade zones and national service trade innovation zones, and promote high-quality development of service trade. Xi stated that China is ready to cooperate with all parties to foster open and innovative global service trade and contribute to building a shared future for humanity.
The 2025 CIFTIS opened in Beijing under the theme “Embrace Intelligent Technologies, Empower Trade in Services” and is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing municipal government.
