Serbia and the United States are preparing to hold bilateral defence consultations to discuss ways to further develop security cooperation.
According to Report, this was announced by the republic’s government following a meeting between Defence Minister Bratislav Gašić and Alexander Titolo, Charge d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Belgrade.
“Serbia’s long-term strategic course is to preserve the status of a military-neutral state. The country is open to deepening cooperation with all relevant actors in the field of international relations, security and defence,” Gašić said.
He expressed ‘particular satisfaction with the stable dynamics of cooperation between Serbia and the United States in the defence sector.’
