During a telephone conversation, Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Zhaparov discussed strengthening friendly ties, good neighbourliness and strategic partnership.

During the talks, the parties considered issues of further expanding bilateral cooperation and noted with satisfaction the steady growth of mutual trade. They also discussed the progress of joint infrastructure projects, including industrial cooperation, the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway and the Kambarata HPP-1.
In addition, the leaders exchanged views on topical issues on the regional agenda and discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
