During the Uzbek-Pakistani business forum in Islamabad, a delegation from the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan held talks with the management of HRL Group, Trend reports.
The parties discussed opportunities for joint geological exploration projects to search for and develop deposits of copper, gold and other strategically important minerals in Pakistan, taking into account Uzbekistan’s experience in this field.
Following the meeting, Minister’s Adviser B. Narmatov, Director General of Uzbek Overseas Geology Company LLC H. Omonov and a representative of HRL Group signed a memorandum of cooperation, confirming their intention to develop bilateral cooperation in the mining sector.
