The US and Denmark have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at developing cooperation in the maritime sector, expanding shipbuilding capacity and strengthening supply chains.

According to Report, this was announced by the US State Department.

The document was signed by US Under-Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg and Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen.

The partnership provides for accelerated training for the US shipbuilding industry, the attraction of Danish investment to US shipyards, and the introduction of advanced technologies for faster and more cost-effective shipbuilding and repair.
