On 20 January 2026, two important high-level meetings between Türkiye and Uzbekistan will be held in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye.
First, the Fourth Meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Group will take place under the co-chairmanship of H.E. Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and H.E. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
On the same day, the First Meeting of the Türkiye–Uzbekistan 4+4 Mechanism will also be held with the participation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, Director of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) İbrahim Kalın, and their Uzbek counterparts.
