The UAE and Greece have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening military and defense cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Report, this is stated in a message on the page of the UAE Ministry of Defense on the social network X.
The document was signed during a meeting between Emirati Defense Minister Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadel Al-Mazroui and his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias.
During the meeting, the sides discussed ways to develop cooperation in the defense and military fields, in particular, joint maritime security, conducting exercises and exchanging military experience, which will contribute to maintaining regional security and stability, as well as strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
“Both sides confirmed the importance of continuing joint coordination and developing areas of defense cooperation in line with the common interests of the two friendly countries,” the ministry said.
