Upon arriving in the U.S., South Korean Trade Minister Yeo Han-koo emphasized Seoul’s efforts to ensure the tariff reduction applies to Korean cars as soon as possible. The U.S. is South Korea’s largest auto export market, accounting for $34.7 billion (49.1%) of its total car exports last year.
