Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu, during his working trip to Iraq, stated that contacts between Moscow and Baghdad are becoming more intense. He noted that discussions now cover business, economy, transport, military, and military-technical cooperation. Despite the short preparation time for the visit, Shoigu emphasized that the program is extensive and expressed hope that all planned talks will be held and lead to constructive outcomes.
