Following talks between the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Mongolia, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, members of the delegations exchanged a number of documents aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.
According to Report, this was announced by Akorda.
In particular, memoranda were signed between the foreign ministries of the two countries, as well as documents on intensifying trade and economic cooperation and collaboration in the financial and energy sectors, including the oil industry.
The parties also agreed on cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy between the relevant agencies, and on cooperation between the central banks of the two countries.
Particular attention was paid to the development of cultural and humanitarian ties – a plan of activities for 2026–2027 was approved, and agreements were signed in the fields of science, education and the media.
In addition, agreements were reached on partnerships between national companies, including Samruk-Kazyna and Erdenes Mongol LLC, as well as between regional administrations, including projects related to the development of the city of Kharkhorum.
